Alegba is a sculpture made by Nigerian-born and Brampton based artist Abiola Idowu. The sculpture pays homage to the Tortoise that lived the longest in Africa named Alagba, who lived for over 300 years. The name Algaba means elder in the Yoruba language; it is suggested that she lived through the reign of more than 18 kings.
Rest in peace Alagaba 1675-2019

Tapping In With The Afronaut is a 3d digital sculpture made by Quentin VerCetty that made it using laser cutting technology, hand carving and etched and specifically “imagineered” it with the energetic and fun-love family and young at heart visitors in mind. The art pierce is an Afrofuturistic story of a the Afronaut traveling from a different universe and time period and is learning about the fun embedded in the game of golf. The Afronaut stands on a teleportation beam pad, awaiting to see and study how each golfer may win before returning to their world.
